Cardio
We have an excellent range of cardio equipment for such a small facility:
- Exercise bikes
- Crosstrainers

Strength
We try to cater for all levels of weight training and have great selection of equipment and weights.
Warning : The safety bars (red) on this equipment have to be high enough to catch the bar and weights should the user lose control. Failure to have the bars at an appropriate height could result in serious injury.
If users choose to lower the bars they do so at their own risk, Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool has a policy of ensuring the bars are in a safe position and will take no responsibility for any injury incurred by user’s actions.

Gym users must be competent with equipment – adults need to complete an induction with a staff member or sign a disclaimer. There are different requirements for under 16s and those aged 17-18. Please contact the pool for more information. Instruction is given on correct use of machinery, however it is up to the user which exercises they choose to do. Completion of a screening form is required. Users should consult with their GP if they have any medical conditions or concerns.
Regular users of the pool and/or gym might want to consider a membership card. For larger savings pay for your membership card by standing order.
