Aquacise
Aquacise classes are our most popular sessions! It is great fun and a great way to keep fit. Aquacise, also known as aqua aerobics or water aerobics, is a form of exercise to music performed in water. It involves a combination of cardio and strength training exercises adapted for the water environment. The water provides resistance, making workouts more challenging and beneficial, while also offering support and reducing impact on joints.
All our instructors are fully qualified and experienced and love their job! If you would like to give it a try, just come along to one of the classes shown on the timetable. There is no need to sign up beforehand, participants simply turn up whenever it’s convenient… go on GIVE AQUACISE A TRY!!
Hydrohex
Hydrohex is a new aqua fitness concept where the classes are presented virtually via a screen from the side of the pool. There are currently four different class types: Cardio, Power, Move and Beat, each of which offers something different. Each class lasts 45 minutes requiring you to put in varying levels of strength, mobility, choreography and heart rate and we currently run three classes a week. Like aquacise, there is no need to sign up beforehand – simply turn up when it’s convenient and give it a go!
Funtime sessions
FUNTIME sessions are for the kids (adults can join in to supervise), we turn the music up and put all sorts of floats and toys in the water.
We have a FUNTIME session every Sunday and also run additional weekday sessions during summer holidays, please check timetable
for up-to-date information.
All children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The following ratios apply
1 adult for 1 child aged 3 years and under.
1 adult for 2 children aged 4 to 7 years old.
Over 8 year olds may use the pool unaccompanied as long as they can swim.
These ratios apply to all sessions unless otherwise stated.
Please note:
Lifeguards cannot replace the care and attention of a responsible adult.
Responsible adults must remain in close proximity/contact with their children and ensure they are closely supervised at all times.
Responsible adults must keep their children who are non-swimmers or weak swimmers within the shallow end of the pool.

Warm water days
We warm the water to 30°C every Sunday for Family time, it remains warm all day.
Please note we are not a hydrotherapy pool, we simply warm the water for our Sunday Family sessions, this is more beneficial for small Children and Babies.
