The pool is available for hire for various purposes – party or professional – swimming galas, parties (especially children’s), training courses and other events. Enquire at the pool for further information.
It is also possible to hire the spectator area – often parents organising a children’s party hire the pool for 1 hour then the spectator area afterwards, and are welcome to bring along their own party food, birthday cakes etc.
Please note our adult/child swimming ratios apply to all Pool and Party Hires. All children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and the following ratios apply
1 adult for 1 child aged 3 years and under.
1 adult for 2 children aged 4 to 7 years old.
Over 8 year olds may use the pool unaccompanied.
Please note:
Lifeguards cannot replace the care and attention of a responsible adult.
Responsible adults must remain in close proximity/contact with their children and ensure they are closely supervised at all times.
Responsible adults must keep their children who are non-swimmers or weak swimmers within the shallow end of the pool.
The spectator area is also available to hire at other times during pool opening hours. It is suitable for individuals running training courses and to hold meetings. (For hire charges please see prices page).
Kids Parties
Party at the pool! The pool is available for hire on a Saturday or Sunday between 12.00pm and 1.00pm. In order to hire the pool a hire form must be completed and submitted to the pool along with a £10 non refundable deposit, this should be done at the earliest opportunity as we take bookings months in advance.
