New Class – Aqua Ninjas!
Looking for something fun, active and different for confident swimmers?
Introducing Aqua Ninjas – a brand-new class packed with games, teamwork and water skills!
The 12 week block of classes starts on Thursday 8th January from 6:00 to 6:45pm and costs £72.
There will be different activities every week. Activities will include: Water Polo, Volleyball, Junior Lifeguard skills, Snorkelling, Fun Games and challenges.
This class is for children over 8 years old. Activities will be mainly in the deep end so children must be confident swimmers.

Thursday Teatime Toddler Swimming Classes are back!
Splash into Thursday evenings with our fun toddler swim sessions every Thursday from 5:15 to 5:45pm.
Classes start on Thursday 8th January and are for 2 to 4 year olds.
Parent/carer join their little ones in the water for a safe, supportive and playful experience.
This is a teacher led class and is perfect for building confidence, water skills, and big smiles

Adult Improver Classes are starting on Wednesday 7th January. The price for a 5 week block is £27.50.

Baby and Toddler Classes
Baby and Toddler Classes will restart on Thursday 8th January 2026
These are teacher led classes with one parent/carer accompanying the child. Classes run for a 6 week block and cost £45.
There are 3 classes
3 months – 1 year from 2 to 2:30pm
1 – 2 years from 2:30 to 3pm
2-3 years from 3 to 3:30pm

New Pool Hoist
We would like to thank Dumfries & Galloway Council’s Coastal Benefit Fund and Friends of Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool for their generous support which enabled our purchase of a new Handimove 3200 Pool Hoist and Chair.
The hoist and chair have a safe working load of 135kg / 21 stones.
Early opening on Wednesdays
Early opening from next Wednesday, 5th November.
We have listened, and will be trialling an early opening for all you early risers looking to exercise before work!
We are opening at 6am on Wednesday mornings.
This will carry on until we close for Christmas, and resume in the new year.
FREE BABY AND TODDLER SWIMMING LESSONS
Kirkcudbright Swimming Pool is running a Baby and Pre-school Instructor Course.
The course is part theory and part practical. We need babies and toddlers for the classes which will be taught by trainee teachers and supervised at all times by qualified instructors.
Class dates and times are:
Friday 04th October
10.30 to 11am Toddlers 18 months to 3 years
2pm to 2.30pm Babies 3 to 18 months
2.30pm to 3pm Toddlers 18 months to 3 years
3pm to 3.30pm Toddlers 3 to 4 years
Saturday 05th October
2pm to 2.30pm Babies 3 to 18 months
